A 5 kg Bird will feed approximately 8-10 guests.

Do you want left overs?

Are you serving other meats with your meal?  A size 5 kg will defiately do 10 Guests.

Are you serving entres or predinner drinks?

How big a serving do you require? Are they big eaters?  A 5kg bird will be fine for 6-8 guests who are hungry!
