Cooking Times

As a rule of thumb for cooking our turkey, using an electric oven of an average size (80 litre) 45cm W x 34cm x H 40cm D.   Fanforced on 180degrees .

  1. Whole Bird - 20 minutes per Kilogram plus 20 minutes  Then rest your bird for 20 minutes on the bench for the juices to reabsorb. This means a 5 Kg turkey is estimated to cook in 1 Hour and 40 mins Plus the 20 minutes resting time.(Allow approx 2 Hours all together) Simple!
  2. Breast Rolled Roast - 40 minutes per Kilogram plus 20minutes. Then rest your roast for 20 minutes
